They gave the island the name "Sualouiga", meaning "Land of Salt". St. Martin is famous for its 37 different beaches, each with its own distinctive attractions. Orient Bay (also known as the “St Tropez of the Caribbean”) is particularly well known for its wide expanse of velvety white sand and its underwater marine reserve that boasts a coral reef that is perfect for snorkeling!

Attractive destinations abound amongst Antigua's many bays, small islands and coral reefs. Every year in April, the island hosts the greatest nautical event of the West Indies: Antigua Sailing Week.

Its elegant capital, Gustavia, harmoniously blends its French and Swedish influences. Be sure to visit its wonderful tax-free shops, its splendid beaches and its excellent restaurants.

>> Located in the Lesser Antilles and composed of 7 islands, the archipelago of Guadeloupe features an astonishing variety of landscapes. The Caribbean Indians called it "Karukéra", the "Island of Beautiful Water", and visitors never fail to be captivated by its waters' shades of blue, green and turquoise.

>> Martinique, the island of flowers and coconuts, is known for its ability to relax and charm its visitors. Guests are always reluctant to leave this small paradise island, with its special mix of volcanoes, lush vegetation and rum!
